FaceTime is probably the easiest way for iPhone users to start video chatting. You can FaceTime another iPhone user if you have their phone number or email address saved in your contacts. Just open up your contacts, search for the person you want to call, and hit the video icon next to their name. When they pick up, you’ll get to see and hear each other. Also, if you’re in the middle of a regular call, you can switch to FaceTime video easily. Just tap the FaceTime icon in the Phone app, located underneath the keypad.
Facebook Messenger
Are you on Facebook? If so, you can video chat with friends using the Facebook Messenger app. To start a call, open the Messenger app. Then, search for the person you want to talk to and click the video icon next to their name. While you’re chatting, you’ll have the option to add interactive filters over your face to make the video even more fun.

Skype is one of the most popular video calling apps. Get started by downloading the app onto your phone and creating an account if you don’t have one already. The person you’re calling also needs to have Skype. With this app, you can video chat with up to 24 people at once, making it perfect for big family hangouts or work collaborations.
